The aim of our DD Community Volunteers program is to connect passionate volunteers to developmental disabilities organizations that are in desperate needs of volunteer support but are lacking the venues to recruit quality candidates. A part of the program is a DD Community Volunteer Service Awards, which recognize siblings of people with developmental disabilities or individual volunteers for their continuous years of commitment, leadership and dedicated service to community work. Special emphasis is placed on community work provided to people with developmental disabilities, their families or the developmental disabilities sector at large.
